Originally founded in 1974, Empire Foods was a small food services distributor servicing local Toronto area restaurants with a small but promising line of products.

In 1988, a young and ambitious new set of partners purchased the existing business.   With the intention of expanding operations, Empire Foods has increased its product offerings and aggressively pursued segments of the market that have previously gone untapped. 

Today, Empire Foods is housed in a 60,000 square foot facility offering five thousand products across multiple verticals that can service nearly all facets of the restaurant industry.  The company distributes across all of southern Ontario, employing the most efficient logistics strategies that have made us an industry leader in customer reliability.

COMPANY POLICY PRODUCT RETURNS & CREDIT

In order for us process a credit ALL requests for credit must be completed quoting:

In an effort for us to efficiently handle our customers Request for Credit we would like to ask you to observe the following procedures.

• All returns must be inspected and pre-authorized by your Empire sales Representatives prior to the return.
• Drivers are NOT authorized to accept returns without the pre-authorized slip, unless at the time of delivery you are returning product from that shipment.
• Refrigerated and frozen items must be returned within 24 hours.
• Dry Food items will not be accepted after 10 days from invoice date, all other products will NOT be accepted after 15 days from invoice date.
• Invoice # the goods were purchased
• Product # and description.
• Price of product.
• Reason for return
• No return will be accepted unless in ORIGINAL, SALEABLE packaging.
• All short shipments MUST be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Please DO NOT deduct amount from your payments until you have a credit invoice # to quote. We will ensure prompt processing of your credits.
